<p>Intended is to perform works for maintaining a transfer press apparatus, when its pressing cycle is stopped, without being obstructed by a slide or a feeder. If an instruction to stop the pressing cycle, in which a slider (5) and a feeder (3) act synchronously, is received in the pressing cycle, the slider (5) is stopped when it reaches a top dead center, and is then caused to stand by at the top dead center. When the feeder (3) ends a return action, on the other hand, the feeder (3) is stopped and then made to stand by at a return action ending position. After this, in response to the instruction to start the pressing cycle, the slider (5) is started at first from the top dead center. When the slider (5) reaches the position corresponding to the return action ending position of the feeder (3), the feeder (3) is started so that the slider (5) and the feeder (3) may then act synchronously with each other.</p> |
