PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

A plasma display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate which face each other across a discharge space. For example, the first substrate is provided with first and second electrodes extending in a first direction and a dielectric layer. The second substrate is provided with barrier ribs extending in a second direction crossing the first direction. A phosphor is provided on side surfaces of the barrier ribs and on the second substrate between the barrier ribs adjacent to each other. A reflective film is formed on the surface opposite to the surface on which the phosphor is provided of the second substrate. Between the first substrate and the second substrate, address electrodes which are disposed so as to overlap with the barrier ribs and extend in the second direction are provided. Consequently, image brightness can be increased.
