The present invention provides a pesticidal composition in the form of a water-dispersible granule comprising a) at least one pesticidal active ingredient, b) at least one surfactant, c) at least one dispersing agent, and optionally d) a filler, obtainable by a process comprising of mixing all the ingredients of the premix to obtain a homogenous premix; micronizing the premix; wetting the micronized premix; granulating the micronized wet premix; drying the granules and treating said granules with a surfactant agent. Further provided by the present invention is a method for the preparation of water-dispersible granules of the of the present invention comprising of mixing all the ingredients of the premix to obtain a homogenous premix; micronizing the premix; wetting the micronized premix; granulating the micronized wet premix; drying the granules and treating said granules with a surfactant agent.
