<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem associated with power supply devices having two power supply systems, power supply for standby and main power supply, when power supply is restored from service interruption, a large rush current flows and there is a possibility that a first relay or a second relay may be damaged or destroyed. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device operates, such that: when alternating-current power supply 1 is interrupted due to service interruption, or the like, and when the power supply 5 for standby is first turned off, the supply voltage of the standby power supply is detected by a standby supply voltage detecting means 10; and when the detected supply voltage falls below a predetermined voltage, the second relay is turned off; and as a result of preventing large rush current from flowing when the alternating-current voltage is restored, damages and destruction of the first relay and the second relay can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
