<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently search a target radio tag circuit element. <P>SOLUTION: A reader 1 for performing radiocommunication with a plurality of radio tags T includes a memory 6 for presuming the estimated number X of all tags estimated to exist in a communicable area 20 of the reader 1, and storing a detected tag list of tag IDs of a plurality of radio tags T which are search targets. A multiple tag detection mode of acquiring information individually from the corresponding radio tags T while sequentially specifying the plurality of tag IDs in the detected tag list stored in the memory 6, and an all-tag response mode of acquiring the tag IDs in the detected tag list out of the acquired information after acquiring information on all radio tags T in the communicable area 20, are switched according to the estimated number X of all the tags. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
