PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media reproducing unit having satisfactory dustproofness and noise shielding properties in an insertion/ejection slot of media. SOLUTION: The media reproducing unit has the media insertion/ejection slot 11, shielding members 21, 22 provided in the media insertion/ejection slot and made of a conductive material, and an open prevention mechanism 25 provided in the shielding members.
