PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a well-operable cordless power tool for allowing the check of a remaining battery level with easy view of a display LED during work. SOLUTION: In an impact driver (the cordless power tool) 1, a motor 3 is built in a housing 2 split into two right and left parts, a battery mounting recessed portion 2a is formed in a handle part 2B of the housing 2, a control board 6 is arranged in the handle part 2B at its front side, the control board 6 and the display LED 8 are connected to each other via a lead wire 9, and the remaining battery level detected by a detecting circuit incorporated in the control board 6 is displayed on the display LED 8. The display LED 8 is arranged on the rear part of the handle part 2B, a groove is formed in the inner peripheral face of the battery mounting recessed portion 2a formed in the handle part 2B of one housing 2, the lead wire 9 passing through the groove is connected to the display LED 8, and a wire cover 12 presses the lead wire 9 while covering the groove.
