PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water leakage detection method capable of detecting the water leakage of an endoscope without performing the removal processing of air by water supply to a channel. SOLUTION: A test liquid for water leakage detection containing a surfactant is applied to the endoscope, pressurization is performed from a pressurizing terminal for the water leakage detection, and presence/no presence of production of air bubbles is viewed to solve the problem.
