PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a belt transmission system for a motorcycle that prevents jumping of a belt and facilitates belt tension adjustment. SOLUTION: In the belt transmission system 10 used for driving a rear wheel of the motorcycle, a jumping prevention roller 20 is provided on an engaging side of a drive pulley 12. The jumping prevention roller 20 is a part of a fixed tensioner 24. The tensioner 24 includes a bracket 26 for supporting the jumping prevention roller 20. A guide groove 26G is formed in the bracket 26. A position for securing the jumping prevention roller 20 to the bracket 26 is so controlled that the jumping prevention roller 20 is always located at a position appropriate for preventing jumping. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the jumping of the timing belt 18 and adjust the tension thereof by the tensioner 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
