PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque converter assembling method and a torque converter assembling device capable of rapidly and easily assembling a torque converter to a transmission. SOLUTION: The phase of a fitting part 214 of a torque converter cover 212 and the phase of a fitting hole 206 of an oil pump sprocket 205 are adjusted to fittable phases. Then, the torque converter cover 212 is rotatably connected integrally with the oil pump sprocket 205. Then, the torque converter cover 212 is rotated and a turbine runner 216 is fitted to the input shaft 202, and the stator 217 is fitted to the stator shaft 203.
