PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect catcher enabling the image of an insect-caching sheet to be obtained in the condition of fitting the insect-caching sheet thereto. SOLUTION: The insect catcher 1 comprises a means 20 for attracting outside insects thereinto inside a long-length casing 10 with openings 11, ... via which insects can intrude thereinto and a holder 30 capable of holding a strip of insect-catching sheet X provided with a tacky surface for catching insects the casing 10 in the longitudinal direction. This insect catcher 1 is characterized by being equipped with a photographer 60 movable along the insect-catching sheet X in the longitudinal direction to enable the whole length of the insect-catching sheet X to be photographed.
