ELECTROSTATIC THERMAL TRANSDUCER (ETW)

An electrostatic thermal transducer (ETW) in which the exchanger areas can be made significantly smaller, the conveying energy is inherently supplied by the electric field, and additional forces that are likewise induced by the electric field generate local density concentrations of the liquid vapors (heat pump effect). The electrostatic thermal transducer directs an ionized gas in an electrostatic field onto a counter electrode such that the resulting ion wind acts as an injector on an aerosol located in the same space and/or on a liquid that is in the vapor phase and entrains the same to the counter electrode.
