There is provided a reproduction device capable of preventing user personal information from being transmitted to an external device controlled by a malicious person. The reproduction device uses an invalidating list and a valid list in combination with each other, so that a certification to be invalidated because of being exposed at a certain timing or being hacked is invalidated by describing the certification into the invalidating list, thereby enabling user personal information to be prevented from being transmitted. On the other hand, a content produced before being exposed is described into the valid list, thereby enabling the content to be used. Therefore, both security and user convenience can be obtained at the same time.
