An optical sheet and a backlight assembly are provided to improve condensing and diffusion efficiency of a light by mixing a condensing pattern and a diffusion pattern. A body part(32) has a transparent flat shape. A plurality of condensing patterns(33) is irregularly formed on a first surface of the body part. A plurality of diffusion patterns(34) is irregularly formed on a first surface of the body part. The condensing patterns have a convex lens shape. The diffusion patterns have a concave lens shape. Sizes of the condensing patterns and the diffusion pattern are different each other. A dimension in which the condensing pattern and the diffusion patterns occupy is 75% in the first surface of the body part.
