<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil feeder capable of stably feeding oil using rotational energy of a gear mechanism notwithstanding the rotational direction of the gear mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The oil feeder comprises a casing 2 in which oil is stored at the bottom 2a, and the gear mechanism G stored in the casing 2, having at least part of tooth crest 10a arranged in oil stored at the bottom 2a. The oil is fed to a bearing 6 arranged over the level of the oil using rotational energy of the gear mechanism G. The casing 2 incorporates a supply passage 13 which is opened at a position B opposite to the tooth crest 10a of the bottom 2a, and through which oil is supplied under pressure, and also supplied under pressure to the bearing 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
