摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of a dark spot or peeling of a cathode due to moisture in a display device having light-emitting elements. <P>SOLUTION: On a first substrate, a light-emitting element having a first electrode, an organic compound layer on the first electrode, and a second electrode on the organic compound layer, is formed. A second substrate is selectively cut by the sand blasting method, and a first region, a second region surrounded by the first region and to be a concave shape against the first region, and a third region to be a concave shape against the second region, are formed. A drying agent is formed in the third region, then the first region the second substrate has and the first substrate are adhered with the use of an adhesive. Thus, by forming the second region to be a concave shape against the fist region on the second substrate, a thickness of an adhesive layer used for adhering with the first substrate can be made thin, so that intrusion of moisture into a sealing space can be prevented. And also, since only the part with the drying agent fitted is processed into a further concave shape, a volume itself of the sealing space having possibility of water intrusion can be extremely made small.
