<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that electric power consumption of sampling reception has been required to be reduced as much as possible for performing sampling reception at every prescribed times in electric wave correcting timepieces which receive CDMA radio waves since such electric wave correcting timepieces require low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: For setting the time of automatic reception, a reception time setting part 20 of an electric wave correcting timepiece 1 performs sampling reception on signals from a base station by an RF processing part 100 at a plurality of times of day, stores an S/N ratio in a storing part 21 computed on the basis of synchronous pulses at each time, compares the stored S/N ratio of each time of day with one another after all the sampling reception has been completed, and sets a time having the highest S/N ratio as the time of day of automatic reception. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
