<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform intraframe coding without referring to an interframe coding block. <P>SOLUTION: An image coding device performs forecast coding of moving image data of a frame unit which is composed of a plurality of blocks, and includes: a frame buffer which holds an image of a reference block; a holding means which holds coding type information of the reference block; and an intraframe forecast means which creates a forecast frame of a coding processing object block using an image of the reference block near the coding processing object block, and coding type information of the reference block. When the reference block near the coding processing object block includes a block whose coding type is interframe coding, the intraframe forecast means excludes the reference block whose coding type is the interframe coding from the reference object, and creates the forecast image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
