PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveyance device capable of excellently conveying paper sheets. SOLUTION: A sensor 100 for detecting the passage of paper sheets is provided in the vicinity of a connection part of air delivery tubes 22 to a common tube path 82, an upstream tube path 102 upstream of an air delivery tube the most-upstream of the common tube path is provided, and an on-off valve 104 for opening and closing the upstream tube path is provided. A control unit opens an on-off valve 80 of one air delivery tube 22 when the paper sheets are thrown in one air delivery tube out of the air delivery tubes. When it is detected that the paper sheets are thrown in the other air delivery tube, the on-off valve of one air delivery tube is closed when it is detected by the sensor that the paper sheets conveyed through one air delivery tube reach the common tube path, and the on-off valve 80 of the other air delivery tube 22 is opened to convey the paper sheets. When it is detected by the sensor 100 that the paper sheets in the other air delivery tube 22 reach the common tube path 82, the on-off valve 80 of the air delivery tube 22 is closed and an on-off valve 104 of the upstream tube path 102 is opened.
