PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a claw pole type motor in which a stator and a rotor are different in magnetic center position from each other when the motor is in a stationary state without deteriorating an output torque, and to provide a pump. SOLUTION: A claw magnetic pole 18 is formed so that the thickness of an axial direction of one peripheral directional end may be thinner than the thickness of an axial direction of the other peripheral directional end.
