PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ADC which alleviates blunting of a counter clock and collapse of Duty ratio to attain high speed drive of an image sensor. SOLUTION: The counter clock is divided using a frequency divider 5, ramp wave is generated by a DAC 2 based on the divided counter clock, and after blunting the ramp wave by a LPF 7, input in a comparator 8. In the comparator, the blunted ramp wave is compared with pixel output, and comparison time of the comparator is counted by a counter 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
