PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To encrypt a data signal including data and positional information indicating the location of the data arranged by time division without depending on a connected device. SOLUTION: An encrypting apparatus includes: a first port for receiving, from a certain device through a certain signal line, a data signal including data and the positional information indicating the location of the data arranged by time division; an encrypting means for encrypting and outputting the data signal inputted from the first port; and a second port connected to one of the multiple signal lines constituting a transmission line and outputting the data signal outputted by the encrypting means to the one signal line.
