PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve unit and a manual opening and closing valve apparatus capable of surely preventing a backflow of a high-pressure gas by a single check valve. SOLUTION: This check valve unit 8 comprises a first housing 21, a second housing 22 fastened to the first housing by screwing, a check valve body 23 encapsulated in the first housing, and a resin sheet 27 arranged between the first housing and the second housing and forming a valve seat 29, from which the check valve body is separated. The resin sheet is crushed by fastening the first housing to the second housing, and a surface pressure to the end face on the valve seat side of the first housing is heightened, and an annular concave groove 41 is formed on the end face of the first housing.
