PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket issuing machine capable of improving the operability of head cleaning using a cleaning card. SOLUTION: This ticket issuing machine is provided with a main body and a ticket issuing unit 10 for exposing almost the whole part of the unit from the main body for performing a maintenance operation. The ticket issuing unit 10 is provided with a write-in part 21 for writing information on the surface of a ticket, a conveyance path 15 on which a ticket is conveyed, and a conveyance means 13 for conveying the ticket in the unit, and the depth dimension of the ticket issuing unit 10 is set so as to be longer or almost equal to the length of the arm of a maintenance operator, and a cleaning card insertion port 17 for supplying a cleaning card C for cleaning at least a write-in part 21 to the conveyance path 15 is formed at a back face 10a side of the ticket issuing unit 10.
