The invention relates to the use of form tools for producing molded parts, especially e.g. in the serial production on an industrial scale of CFK components by means of nickel 36 large-format form tools. According to the invention, thermal spraying, e.g. by means of a thermal spray gun (18) is used for repairs and/or changes in contour of a form surface (12) of a used form tool (10).
