The device has two unbalanced masses (5, 6) arranged on a motor shaft that is driven by a direct current (DC) motor (4). The unbalanced masses are placed in a housing part (3). Mechanical vibrations produced by the unbalanced masses are transmitted over the housing to a human body. The unbalanced masses are placed at a same location of the motor shaft, where the unbalanced masses are rotated together for changing the mechanical vibrations in a variable angle. A potentiometer (13) is integrated for adjusting speed of the DC motor. The housing is made up of metal or plastic.
