<p>Active agent combination (I) comprises at least one substituted amino-furan-2-one compound (II) and at least one compound comprising: inhibitors of chitin biosynthesis (a) e.g. benzoyl urea, teflubenzuron and fluazuron; other inhibitors of chitin biosyntheses (b) comprising buprofezin; inhibitors of moulting disruptor (c) comprising cyromazine; juvenile hormones mimetic (d) comprising pyriproxifen, diofenolan and fenoxycarb; the molting hormone (ecdysone) agonists (e) comprising diacylhydrazine, tebufenozide, methoxyfenozide, chromafenozide and halofenozide. Active agent combination (I) comprises at least one substituted amino-furan-2-one compound of formula (II) and at least one compound comprising: inhibitors of chitin biosynthesis (a) comprising benzoyl urea, chlorofluazuron, diflubenzuron, lufenuron, teflubenzuron, triflumuron, novaluron, hexaflumuron, bistrifluron, flufenoxuron, flucycloxuron, noviflumuron and fluazuron; other inhibitors of chitin biosynthesis (b) comprising buprofezin; inhibitors of moulting disruptor (c) comprising cyromazine; juvenile hormones mimetic (d) comprising pyriproxifen, diofenolan and fenoxycarb; the molting hormone (ecdysone) agonists (e) comprising diacylhydrazine, tebufenozide, methoxyfenozide, chromafenozide and halofenozide, where (II) excludes 4{[(6-chloropyrid-3-yl)methyl](methyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one and 4{[(6-chloropyrid-3-yl)methyl](cyclopropyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one. A : 6-fluoro-pyrid-3-yl, 6-chloro-pyrid-3-yl, 6-bromo-pyrid-3-yl, 5-fluoro-6-chloro-pyrid-3-yl, 2-chloro-1,3-thiazol-5-yl or 5,6-dichloro-pyrid-3-yl; and R 1>methyl, cyclopropyl, methoxy, 2-fluoroethyl or 2,2-difluoro-ethyl.
