<p>A separable endoscope formed by assembling an endoscope sheath and an endoscope body together. The separable endoscope allows the tip of an insertion section to be accurately and easily placed at a sheath tip. The separable endoscope has an endoscope sheath (21), an endoscope body (33), and a positioning member (48). The endoscope sheath (21) has tubes (28, 29) inserted into a sheath body (22) and having tips that are connected to the sheath tip (23) and also having an engagement receiving section (51) provided at the sheath tip (23). The endoscope body (33) has the insertion section (34) that can be inserted into the sheath body (22). The positioning member (48) is provided at the tip of the insertion section (34) and has an engagement section (48) and a guide section (49). The engagement section (48) is engaged with the engagement receiving section (51) and positions the tip of the insertion section (34) relative to the sheath tip (23). The guide section (49) can slide on the outer peripheral surfaces of the tubes (28, 29) in their longitudinal direction while holding, relative to the tubes (28, 29), the positioning member (48) at a position at which the engagement section (48) can be engaged with the engagement receiving section (51).</p> |
