<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device in which a connection flange connecting a gas collection chamber can be surely fastened, exhaust gas in the collection chamber is flowed down suitably, and the rigidity of the gas collection chamber and the like is increased. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device has an after-treatment device for passing exhaust gas to purify it in a casing 7 in a middle of an exhaust passage 13, and is connected with the gas collection chamber 9A forming an exhaust passage 13 at an outlet side of the casing 7 in a direction different from an axial center direction of the casing 7, by connection flanges 21, 22. An attachment hole 25 provided with an attachment part 26 passing through the exhaust passage 13 and enabling fastening of the connection flanges 21, 22 from the outside is formed at the gas collection chamber 9A.
