PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of being unable to provide sufficient extensibility and flexibility by frictional force, since a ball is fixed to an annular member, in a conventional draw checking member. SOLUTION: This draw checking member is formed by alternately arranging a cut-divided part at an equal interval on both end surface of a ring member, by rotatably sandwiching the metallic ball by ball holding parts by partially projecting toward the inner peripheral surface side of the ring member, by forming the ring member by integrally undivisibly joining a pair of ring half-split bodies formed of a synthetic resin and having a plurality of ball holding parts at an equal interval on one surface. Its manufacturing method is composed of a process of integrally molding the pair of ring half-split bodies having the plurality of ball holding parts at an equal interval on the one surface by the synthetic resin, a process of rotatably sandwiching the metallic ball in the ball holding parts of the two ring half-split bodies, a process of forming the ring member by integrally undivisibly joining an interface surface of the ring half-split bodies, and a process of alternately forming the cut-divided part at an equal interval on both end surfaces of the ring member.
