PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor unit of a modular kitchen having lighting means permitting easy maintenance and space saving for a space for setting a light emitting part itself. SOLUTION: The floor unit 1 for the modular kitchen is set on the floor side. A side emitting light guide 32 to transmit the light from a light source 31a in the longitudinal direction and incoming from at least one end 32e, and to emit light by leaking the transmitted light from an outer peripheral face 32f, is laid in line along the lateral width direction in a part of the front surface areas 11a and 21a exposed from at least either the front side or upper face side of the floor unit.
