PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for a thin plate molded article, which allows gate-cutting with an simple mold structure and making development of dragging very hard, wherein the mold for a thin plate molded article molds the thin plate molded article by injection compression molding in a cavity formed between a mold half and another mold half. SOLUTION: In a mold 11 for the thin plate molded article, which molds a thin plate molded article P by injection compression molding in a cavity 14 formed between a mold half 13 and another mold half 12; a fixed gate cutter 45 is fixedly prepared adjoining a cavity forming block 42 built on the mold half 13, a movable gate cutter 24 is prepared on the other mold half 12 and moves back and forth so that to make a gate P3 disconnected in relation to the fixed gate cutter 45, and the hardness of the movable gate cutter 24 is set higher than the hardness of the fixed gate cutter 45.
