PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throw-away tip repetitively mounted on a holder with more accuracy and whose protrusion length is adjustable in the longitudinal direction, and also to provide a cutting tool using the same. SOLUTION: The throw-away tip 10 to be inserted into a hole 110 of the cutting tool holder comprises a blade part 20 approximately round-bar-shaped extending in the axial direction and formed on the front end side in the axial direction, and a shank part 30 formed on the base end side.
