PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging cabinet equipped with lighting means permitting easy maintenance and space saving for setting a light emitting part itself. SOLUTION: The hanging cabinet 1 is set above a kitchen counter 21. A side emitting light guide 32 to transmit light from a light source 31a in the longitudinal direction and incoming from at least one end 32e, and to emit light by leaking the transmitted light from an outer peripheral face 32f, is laid in line along the lateral width direction on the lower face side 16a of a hanging cabinet body 10.
