METHOD FOR EXECUTING WATER JET PEENING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the forcible vibration frequency of water jet peening. SOLUTION: It is found that the forcible vibration frequency of water jet peening is changed with a jet distance, a jet flow rate and a nozzle diameter. The jet distance, the jet flow rate and the nozzle diameter of the water jet peening are selected according to the natural frequency of an object for executing water jet peening so as to prevent resonance.
