Conventionally, since information of a configuration feature for every category of a component has not been available as an attribute of a processing surface, information from a shape through a position of a tool or probe cannot be maintained at a setting file. A metallic mold making system, which processes a metallic material based on three-dimensional metallic mold CAD data to make a desired three-dimensionally shaped metallic mold, is provided with a metallic mold surface attribute and processing method corresponding memory means that associates a predetermined metallic mold surface attribute prescribed in connection with the three-dimensional metallic mold CAD data with a processing method suitable for the achievement of a metallic mold in which the predetermined metallic mold surface attribute is made and stores such an associated relationship, a metallic mold processing method extracting means that extracts a metallic mold processing method corresponding to each surface attribute of the metallic mold surface attributes by means of the metallic mold surface attributes and processing method of the metallic mold surface attribute and processing method corresponding memory means, and a metallic material processing means that processes a metallic material in accordance with the metallic mold processing method extracted by the metallic mold processing method extracting means to make the metallic mold.
