The present invention relates to novel combinations of active agents comprising at least one known compound of formula (I) in which R1 and A have the meanings designated in the specification, on the one hand, and at least one additional known active agent from the class of neonicotinoids, on the other hand, said combinations of active agents being very well suited for combating animal pests such as insects and undesired acarides.
