<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a washer 11 from being set upside down when a main lip 12a made of a rubber elastic material is integrally molded with the washer 11. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device 1 comprises a flat annular washer 11, and a seal body 12 integrally molded to the washer 11 by a rubber elastic material, and an inner end on one side of the washer 11 is chamfered 11c, and the seal body 12 has a main lip 12a adhered to the chamfered 11c inner end. In this manufacturing method, before the seal body 12 is molded, a groove 111 or a concave part is formed on one side or the other side of the washer. Accordingly, when the washer 11 is set to a die for integrally molding the main lip 12a to the washer 11, by checking the groove 11 or the concave part, the washer 11 can be set to a right surface and rear face direction, so as to prevent the washer from being wrongly set, and surely obtain an effect for improving a pressure resistance of the main lip 12a by chamfering 11c of the washer 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
