PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire alarm capable of preventing an erroneous notification by fire detection other than an actual fire and preventing a removed head part from being left unmounted. SOLUTION: The fire alarm 1 includes a base part 10 stuck to a mounting surface; and a head part detachably mounted to the base part and including a fire sensing part 22 discriminating a fire based on a fire detection signal, and an alarm part 23 for sounding an alarm according to the discriminated result of the fire in the fire sensing part. The base part includes an attachment/detachment detecting part 12 for detecting the attached/detached state of the head part; an alarm sounding part 13 for informing that the head part is left detached; and a control means 11 for sounding an alarm by the alarm sounding part when the detached state of the head part continues after the lapse of a preset stand-by time after the detachment of the head part is detected by the attachment/detachment detecting part.
