PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label attaching device easy in tape splicing which attaches a label while keeping tension near a label separation panel even when a label tape comes off from a supply reel or is cut halfway. SOLUTION: This label attaching device 1 is provided with a label supplying part 5, a transfer part 7 for holding and transferring a label tape 6, a label separation part 8 and a winding part 9. The part 7 is provided with vertically set three ganged transfer rollers 7a, 7b and 7c rotated receiving the rotary power of servomotors 7d, 7e and 7f, respectively. The direction of the tape 6 is changed at the tip of a label release board 8f and a label 6b separated from belt-like base paper 6a is delivered to the front of the board 8f. The upper two rollers 7a, 7b transfer the tape 6 to the tip of the board 8f and the lower two rollers 7b, 7c move the base paper 6a in the direction of the winding part 9.
