PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing a molded plate, capable of obtaining the molded plate having a smooth edge surface without polishing the edge surface of the molded plate. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the molded plate includes: an extruding process in which a plurality of kinds of resins having different fusion state are converged to extrude into a sheet shape from a die 12 to form a resin sheet 11 in which the resin for main body and resins for waste are alternately arranged in the sheet width direction; a cooling and solidifying process of cooling and solidifying the resin sheet 11 by nipping the resin sheet 11 between a nipping roller 16 and a cooling roller 14 and, thereafter, stripping the resin sheet 11 from the cooling roller 14; a cutting process 20 of cutting the resin sheet 11 which is cooled and solidified, in the width direction; and a separation process 22 of separating the cut resin sheet 11 into the resin for main body and the resin for waste, wherein a plurality of molded plates which are molded into a desired size from the resin for main body are manufactured.
