PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print unit capable of recording an image regardless of a conveyance direction. SOLUTION: The print unit 3 includes: a recording head 4 which jets ink to a recording medium K conveyed in either a normal or a reverse conveyance direction X; a page memory 33 where image data is divided into image data of one column to be recorded in each jetting timing and stored in order of jetting timing, and also the image data of one column are divided into image data of one dot and stored in arraying order of nozzles when the conveyance direction X is normal, and a control part 5. The recording head 4 has a shift register 42 latching jetting propriety data in every jetting timing and outputting it to the respective nozzles. The control part 5 controls the shift register 42 to memorize the image data in the page memory 33 as the jetting propriety data in storing order of the image data of one column and the image data of one dot when the conveyance direction X is normal, and to memorize it in a reverse order to the storing order of the image data of one column and also that of the image data of one dot when the conveyance direction X is reverse.
