PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for evaluating a degree of deterioration of abrasive material while allowing the use of general abrasive material, simplifying construction and suppressing a cost increase. SOLUTION: This deterioration degree evaluating device comprises a container-shaped holder 15 having a holding part 11 for holding abrasive material 10 of which a degree of grinding force deterioration is to be evaluated, in a water-containing condition, an air introduction port 12 for introducing air to dry the water-containing abrasive material 10, and a drain port 14 for draining water 13 released from the abrasive material 10, and an air spray means 17 for spraying air through the air introduction port 12 to the abrasive material 10.
