PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene related to saccharometabolism and/or lipid metabolism, to provide a protein encoded by the gene, to provide a detection method of saccharometabolism anomaly and/or lipid metabolism anomaly which method uses the gene or the protein, to provide a test method of improved materials of the saccharometabolism anomaly and/or lipid metabolism anomaly which method uses the gene or the protein, and to provide the improved materials of the saccharometabolism anomaly and/or lipid metabolism anomaly. SOLUTION: The detection method of lipid metabolism anomaly comprises a step of measuring the expression level of polynucleotides having a specific sequence and/or specific proteins having a specific sequence, and a screening method of materials actually effecting on the expression of the polynucleotides and/or the proteins is provided.
