A : 6-fluoro-pyrid-3-yl, 6-chloro-pyrid-3-yl, 6-bromo-pyrid-3-yl, 5-fluoro-6-chloro-pyrid-3-yl, 2-chloro-1,3-thiazol-5-yl or 5,6-dichloro-pyrid-3-yl; and R 1>CH 3, cyclopropyl, CH 3O, 2-fluoroethyl or 2,2-difluoro-ethyl. Independent claims are included for: (1) a procedure for combating animal pests comprising applying the active substance combination on animal pests and/or their habitat and/or seeds; (2) preparing insecticidal and acaricidal agent comprising mixing the active substance combination with stretching agent and/or surface active agents; and (3) seeds, which are treated with the active agent combination. #CMT#[Image]#/CMT# #CMT#ACTIVITY : #/CMT# Pesticide; Insecticide; Acaricide; Anthelmintic; Nematocide; Virucide; Avicide; Antibacterial; Fungicide; Antialgal; Animal Repellent; Antimicrobial. #CMT#MECHANISM OF ACTION : #/CMT# None given. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The active agent combination is useful for: combating animal pest; preparing insecticidal and acaricidal agent; treating seeds; treating transgenic plants; and treating seeds of transgenic plants (all claimed), where: the animal pests are insects, acarids, spiders, helminths, nematodes and molluscs, and the transgenic plants are cotton, flax, vine, fruit and vegetables from Rosaceae spp.e.g. apple and pear, Musaceae spp.e.g. banana trees and plantations, Rubiaceae spp.e.g. coffee. The active agent combination is also useful: in agricultures, horticultures, animal husbandries, forests and gardens; and as algaecide, avicide, bactericide, fungicide, molluscicide, nematicide, rodenticide, or as microbicide. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The active agent combination exhibits: synergistic effect to combat animal pests; low phytotoxicity; good plant compatibility; and good environmental performance to protect plants and plant organs. The active agent combinations increase the yield and quality of the crop. The synergistic effect of (I) (20 g/hectare) with spirodiclofen (20 g/hectare) was tested against Myzus persicaein cabbage leaves ( Brassica oleracea). The results showed that 4-{[(6-chloropyrid-3-yl)methyl](2-fluoroethyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one and spirodiclofen exhibited an aborticide percentage (after 6 days) of 100. #CMT#AGRICULTURE : #/CMT# Preferred Process: The process comprises simultaneously or subsequently adding (I) and one of the active agents on seeds. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Components: (I) is 4-{[(6-bromopyrid-3-yl)methyl](2-fluoroethyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one, 4-{[(6-fluoropyrid-3-yl)methyl](2,2-difluoroethyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one, 4-{[(2-chloro-1,3-thiazol-5-yl)methyl](2-fluoroethyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one, 4-{[(6-chloropyrid-3-yl)methyl](2-fluoroethyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one, 4-{[(6-chloropyrid-3-yl)methyl](2,2-difluoroethyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one, 4-{[(6-chloro-5-fluoropyrid-3-yl)methyl](methyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one, 4-{[(5,6-dichloropyrid-3-yl)methyl](2-fluoroethyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one or 4-{[(6-chloro-5-fluoropyrid-3-yl)methyl](cyclopropyl)amino}furan-2(5H)-one. #CMT#ADMINISTRATION : #/CMT# Administration of the active agent combination: in leaves is 0.1-10000, preferably 50-300 g/hectare; in seed is 2-200, preferably 2.5-12.5 g/100 kg of seed; and in soil is 0.1-10000, preferably 1-5000 g/hectare. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# None given.
