An offshore liquefied gas regasification facility including a jetty (4) with a liquid pipeline (7) thereon, a mobile floating unit (1) attached to the jetty by a detachable mooring line (5) and having a regasification plant (6) thereon, at least one line handling system (10) on said floating unit with a mooring line (3, 3', 3", 3"') for connection to at least one anchor point (2) designed to withstand severe weather conditions, said regasification plant having an inlet coupling means (8, 9) for connection to said pipeline and an outlet coupling means (8, 9) for connection to a gas pipeline.
