A hollow-fiber element as a component of a separation membrane module for organic-vapor separation. The element comprises a fiber bundle which is composed of many hollow-fiber membranes having selective permeability and at least one end of which has been fixed and bound with a tube plate made of a cured object formed from an epoxy resin composition. The epoxy resin composition comprises the epoxy compound (A) represented by the formula (1), an epoxy compound (B) represented by the formula (2), and an aromatic amine compound (C), the proportion of the epoxy compound (A) to the epoxy compound (B) being from 90/10 to 60/40 by weight. The tube plate has durability which enables the inner space of the hollow-fiber membranes and the space outside the membranes to retain sufficient gas tightness even in use in high-temperature high-pressure organic vapors. The tube plate can be advantageously formed by stationary molding. (In the formula (2), R represents C1-3 alkyl or hydrogen.)
