#CMT# #/CMT# The calendar (1) has a lower roller (2) and an upper roller (3), where a press plane (10) is defined through axes of the rollers. The lower roller and the upper roller are pivoted at axial ends in bearing arrangements (4, 5). A C-shaped stand (6) includes two sides (7, 8) in an area of the axial ends, and accommodates the bearing arrangement (4) of the lower rollers between two sides. A latch (11) is fastened to the stand and connects the two sides with each other. The bearing arrangement (5) of the upper roller is fastened to the latch. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Calendar for a paper machine. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The bearing arrangement of the upper roller is fastened to the latch, thus permitting simple assembly and disassembly/demounting of the rollers, while requiring small installation space in machine direction and reducing overall length of the calendar. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a schematic side view of a calendar with upper and lower rollers. 1 : Calendar 2 : Lower roller 3 : Upper roller 4, 5 : Bearing arrangements 6 : Stand 7, 8 : Sides 10 : Press plane 11 : Latch. |
