DIRECT CURRENT CABLE

摘要

A direct current cable is provided to prevent generation of an insulation breakdown by increasing the number of winding of an insulation paper in a conductor right above section and a shielding section. An inner semi-conductive layer(14) and an outer semi-conductive layer(18) surround an outer surface of a conductor(12). An insulation layer(16) is formed between the inner semi-conductive layer and the outer semi-conductive layer. An insulation paper is wound in the insulation layer. The insulation layer is partitioned into a conductor right above section(a), an intermediate section(b), and a shielding section(c). Thickness of an insulation paper wound in the conductor right above section and the shielding section is thinner than thickness of an insulation paper wound in the intermediate section. The conductor right above section and the shielding section is subdivided to a first region and a second region. The first region is contacted with the inner semi-conductive layer or the outer semi-conductive layer. The second region is formed between the first region and the intermediate section. Thickness of an insulation paper wound in the first region is thinner than thickness of an insulation paper wound in the second region. Thickness of an insulation paper wound in the second region is thinner than thickness of an insulation paper wound the intermediate section.
