<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for assisting the fixation of a setting body, which can facilitate the work of fixing the setting body in a specified position in the longitudinal direction of a building material. <P>SOLUTION: The tool 30 for assisting the fixation of the setting body is equipped with an attaching section 31, which is to be attached to a light steel material P by a magnet 32, and a rest 34, which is equipped with a placing face 34a that is extended from the attaching section 31 and allows a wiring box 10 to be placed and also is positioned on a face orthogonal to the direction of erection of the light steel material P.
